Steven Schabow

Steve Schabow has been a top-producing loan officer and leader in the mortgage industry since 2001. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, he quickly rose to become one of the top five loan officers in the Midwest and ranked among the top 25 nationwide within his company.

In 2003, Steve relocated to the Pacific Northwest following a promotion, where he consistently exceeded company goals and led his branch to achieve the highest customer service rankings on the West Coast. Building on his success and leadership experience, he founded Bridge City Lending Associates in 2007. The firm later merged with Residential Mortgage, expanding its offerings to include a full range of mortgage products, including construction financing.

Steve is deeply committed to client advocacy and delivering exceptional service. His philosophy has shaped a team culture centered on helping individuals and families across the country achieve homeownership and long-term financial security.

Beyond his professional work, Steve is dedicated to community involvement. He and his wife, Christina—co-owner of Portland Early Learning Project—actively support initiatives focused on early childhood development. In his free time, Steve enjoys live music, the outdoors, including camping, hiking, and mountain biking. He lives with his family in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
